These little guys make a huge impact on food resources throughout the world. All fruits and vegetables need pollinating to grow, and without bees, our food sources would be rapidly depleted. Commonly used chemicals in mass food production are deadly to honey bees, and it’s critical that all of us do all we can to support their survival.
Creating an Eco-friendly garden with plants that attract pollinators can have a huge impact on honey bee survival. We’re indebted to these honey bees, so let’s treat them right.
Fuchsia are a delight for hummingbirds.
Butterflies hard at work pollinating coral Pentas.
The bird eats the grub worm, the spider lands the fly, the bee spreads the pollen, the lizard says all is well.
These spiny back orb weavers look a little scary, but I promise, they’re good friends in the garden. Their webs look stunning after a rain. Count yourself lucky if they grace your garden with their presence.
