It’s so easy to want to escape pain and problems. It’s normal for our spirit to feel pressed when trouble comes.

•Our problems with our boss come to a tipping point.
•Our adult child’s destructive behavior seeps into every part of their life.
•The results aren’t good about our recent fatigue.

Problems strain at destroying our trust in God. It’s normal.

Even Jesus’ soul was troubled in the days leading up to the cross.

He just didn’t let the trouble control Him.
He didn’t try to avoid or run away.
He didn’t protect Himself.
He didn’t make excuses.

He prayed four words and just kept moving toward the place God was showing Him.

“Father, glorify Your name.” John 12:28

Most of us have probably never faced what Jesus was facing.

Could it make a difference in our lives if we could just pray these four words?

•When we’re faced with trouble, Father, glorify Your name.
•When we’re faced with doubt, Father, glorify Your name.
•When the weight feels unbearable, Father, glorify Your name.

🔆May we find peace + hope here, friends.

“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” John 12:27-28
