fragrance

she knew whose house he was in

so she hurried to get her perfume

she stood behind him crying

close enough that her tears

soaked his feet

gathering her hair

she knelt down

and wiped her tears from his feet

kissing them over and over

she poured her perfume on his feet

rubbing it in

and the scent filled the room
