impossible.

Impossible.

We celebrated 25 years last year and as a Christmas gift to my guy, I planned a years worth of romantic, fun, adventurous dates for the two of us to enjoy the beginning of empty nesting together.

It was probably the best gift I ever gave my husband. I’m not a great gift giver.

We enjoyed a few of these plans before 2020 took hold.

We were initially sad for what we lost, but along the way we laughed at funny videos, watched some good movies, and hoped together for a better tomorrow. We were thankful for good health like never before.

We grieved together for worldwide suffering and our hearts grew closer together.

In the impossibility of this year, we became more unified than ever.

This is the joy we find in the story of Christmas. God brought unity through impossibility.

And we find hope.
